MLP: The four ponies of the End and the Beginning

"There's a legend in Equestria that tells about three mares who once had a normal life, and something horrible happened to them.

Three little fillies lived in a time when war was everywhere. Nopony could see each other if they weren't the same kind, so Unicorns fighted against Earth ponies, and Pegasi wanted to win all over them. There was desperation and war everywhere.

The first one, a little unicorn, tired of every fight her parents had to fight, fell into a terrible illness: there was no cure for her, or hope, and as she was watching herself die, her parents died in the fight. Weakened for the illness and the sadness of her loss, she just left her body to die. But there was hope for her, for one day a little alicorn foal went into her house. His eyes were empty of any soul, but his glaze sent care to her. The alicorn helped her to stand, and took her out of her home. She saw the consequences of the war: there was death everywhere. She looked at the alicorn, and he touched her with his magic.
The little unicorn felt well all of sudden. Her illness wasn't a problem to her anymore, and she gained a cutiemark. She understood she was able to control any kind of illness, so she decided to follow the little alicorn.

The second one was a little pegasus filly. She grew aggressive from the war and the hostility always present on her kind, and she always attacked anypony who would try to go near her. But in her heart, she was crying, wanting a friend with all her soul. But her mind was far gone, and didn't want to listen to the heart, so her suffer was eternal. Her parents always trained her to fight for the cause, so she was stronger as every day that passed, until one day her parents didn't come home. She knew what happened to them, she knew they died, but she didn't care at all. Her mind was too clouded to care for anyone.
Until one night, an alicorn foal flew past her window. When she went out to investigate, for her curiosity was still in there, the alicorn landed in front of her, and was the first one in a lot of time she allowed to approach. With his magic, the alicorn gave her serenity and calm, and a cutiemark. And she found she could control the anger and hostility in others that caused war. And she followed him.

The third one was an earth filly. She knew her kind was the one who could create food from the earth, but there was no earth to cultivate. An immense famine fell onto every single pony in there, and her family was no exception. All the sound she heard all the day long were her family and her stomach, claiming desperately for food, any kind of food. But there was no anser to those pleads, and they grew weaker and weaker. Their body looked like a skeleton with skin, and the little earth pony knew she was going to die someday. But her family went first, leaving her alone in the dark, with no food. She just sat there, waiting for the death to come for her.
And the death came.
The little alicorn foal went to her house, accompanied with an unicorn filly and a pegasus filly. She saw the three, as she wondered why where they here, in her house. The alicorn went near her, and with care, touched her with his magic. She felt the hunger was no longer a problem, and even if her body stayed as a skeleton with skin, she felt great. Her cutiemark showed her what her new power was: she could control famine, and also the food people had.

And the four of them left that place full of death, leaving nothing behind.

Those little ponies grew up, but never show to other ponies, for they were special. Everytime an unfair war was present in Equestria, or any other part of the world, the would come: they would punish the part that was killing with no mercy the other, making their people fall in incurable illness, fighting to each other with no reason, with a strong anger and hate, and making them feel a hunger nothing could fill, because their food was gone.
And after the suffer and punishment, the alicorn would save them with the end of their lives.

As for the part that was being attacked and hurt for no reason and in an unfair way, they would cure their illness and wounds, they would take away the anger and hate, they would give them food and take away the famine, and they would give them the life they've lost.

And even today, they still are there protecting those who no one wanted or tried to protect.

These are the version of the four horsemans of the Apocalypse. I found it something interesting to draw, so I did it!
