MLP FiM: MoonLight

After being banished to the moon by her sister, Princess Luna found herself so lonely she couldn't stop crying every single night.
To calm herself, she decided to sing every night a lullaby. Even though her voice never reached her sister or anyone in Equestria, she kept singing.
One night, a little pegasus foal, blind from birth, was awake, unable to sleep due to the memories of his fellow ponies laughing at him for looking like a filly. Restless, and crying for his loneliness, went outside the orphanage where he was living, trying to take away those memories, when all of sudden he heard a voice comming from nowhere.

Trying to find the origin of that voice, he followed it, until his ears found that the voice was coming from up in the sky. He never saw the moon or it's brightness, he didn't even knew about Princess Luna, but he heard her lullaby, alone in the night, and he felt he wasn't alone in the world anymore.
With his little voice, he started to sing with her, both voices joining in a beautiful lullaby that no one was able to hear.

Princess Luna, happy to have found someone who could hear her, wanted to reward the little pegasus with something only he would have, something that made him special: she rewarded him with the power of the moonlight, a power that allowed him to bring light into the darkest night, her light, so he could lead other ponies when they were too scared to continue, for only he knew what was to live always in the dark. But that power changed him, turning his mane and tail magical, that moved like the princesses.

And Princess Celestia noticed it. Knowing that it was something from her banished sister, and unable to punish the foal, because he did nothing more than help someone, Princess Celestia put the little pegasus into a deep sleep, so he could never use the power Princess Luna gave to him. But she never stopped his time, only slowed it.

The last thing the little pegasus could hear from his dear new friend, Princess Luna, was:

"Don't worry, for soon you'll wake up and I'll return. Wait, little one, and we'll live happy in the new kingdom I'll make.
Wait for me, my dear MoonLight"

Even in his sleep, MoonLight kept dreaming about the lullaby, singing it from his mind to Princess Luna, so she would never be alone anymore.
